It’s Falling and I Can’t Get Up

Every time the leaves change colors, I develop a bad habit. I already dabble in biting my nails and I will sometimes forget to buckle up, and rarely will you find me making my bed (because, why make my bed if no one is going to see it?), but this habit has to do with sleep. In college it was substitute teachers. In high school – tests. Now, the thing keeping me from successfully extricating from my sheets in the morning is the season. Cold weather sucks, and I’m not a mean person, I just genuinely don’t enjoy three types of weather: 1. rain 2. snow 3. morning I am a night owl and with the onset of cold weather, (fall), I stay up longer, keeping cozy in front of the tube (thank you NFL) which results in me going to bed later. CAN YOU HEAR ME? Now, I…

just received a phone call from a relative reminding me to call my grandmother and wish her a safe trip. (She is flying to CA to visit her brother). Only issue with this is that the reminder came a little early considering I’m still at work and I will probably never call my grandmother from work. I’m not heartless, I actually have a good reason for this: 1. I don’t feel like yelling into a phone around an office full of co-workers. Laughs would ensue and each person within a 100′ radius of my desk would know everything I am talking about. In case you can’t tell, I’m a little into my privacy – sometimes. Also, the use of all caps in the title is internationally known to signify louder-than-normal emphasis. So, when you read the title you are supposed to be yelling – similar to how I would sound in my office on the phone with a certain hearing-impaired…
