In addition to being one of the words that goes against the ‘I before E’ rule, caffeine is also an addictive ingredient in many people’s morning routine. If you’re enjoying a piping hot cup of coffee right now, there are some things you should know about how caffeine affects your body. In addition to raising blood pressure and increasing the amount of fatty acids in your blood, you’ll find that caffeine can have some beneficial (albeit, relatively speaking) side-effects. These ‘beneficial’ effects, do not include bad breath, brown teeth or jittery hands, unless of course you are a monster. Sleep More, Live Better

The best time to remember something is between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., (when most people are at happy hour). Is this an evolutionary change our bodies have adopted due to the crippling effects alcohol has on our memory muscle? Maybe. I learned there were plenty of other ways sleeping better and sleeping more (relative term) can help improve your life (again, relative term). If remembering phone numbers and directions is taxing, make sure that you’re getting enough sleep – about seven hours. Lack of shut-eye can affect our working memory.
